F.A.Q.

How much do you charge for a performance?

Our mindset is that we will virtually never refuse an offer to perform, granted proper advance notice is given. We do not have a set rate, but rather prefer for the host to pay whatever they can reasonably afford. Along the same line, money is not our incentive to sing a cappella and thus will never be a factor in whether we perform for your organization/party.

How/when can I try out for you?

Contact Bret Fanshaw or David Porto, and they will keep you updated on the audition schedule and answer any questions you may have. Also, the website will have all of the dates and times of fall auditions.

Do you guys perform for sororities/fraternities, dormitories and charity events?

Absolutely. In fact, many of our performances to date have been at such venues (Wiscapella, Tri-Delta Pancake Charity Breakfast, Frank’s Place, Smith Hall, Chadbourne) and we look forward to filling our schedules with these events. Again, we do not charge for any of these unless the organization has the means. If you are interested in having us sing in your dorm or organization, feel free to contact the group via contact form email (on the site) or email our business manager Bret Fanshaw at fanshaw@wisc.edu

Can I request songs at a concert?

We are more than willing to sing any of our songs for any given venue. In fact, we try to have a wide ranging repertoire for that exact reason- to appeal to as much of our audience as possible. Although we often attempt to tailor our songs to the event and mix up the program from show to show, nothing is set in stone. Just let us know, and we will do our best to oblige.

Will you guys do {insert song name here}?

While we would love to do {insert song name here}, we can’t do every song that people would like us to; we simply don’t have the time, but we would love to hear your suggestions and will take them into consideration.

What if we want a song you’ve already retired?

Again, we rule nothing out. Keep in mind, some of our songs may require alumni who are not present and thus we may have to decline. Otherwise, we will do our best for you.

Do you do birthday/valentines/special event serenades for friends or significant others?

You know it. Give us a time, a date, and a place and we will be there.
